The peculiarity of being in southern Umbria also allows you to visit Rome by car or by train (leaving the car at the nearby Narni Scalo train station, there are regional trains approximately every hour from morning until late evening).
By following our advice you will be in the centre of Rome in just about an hour. Going by car we will also advise you where to park, if going by train we will suggest the best times and connections, to easily get to the centre of Rome.
This will allow you to spend a whole day in the eternal city, without planning your visit in advance, and return in the evening to the peace and quiet of Torre Palombara.
Many of our guests also take advantage of being close to the international airports of Rome and Perugia choosing Torre Palombara as the first or last stay of their Italian tour.
