The Marmore’s Falls were created by the ancient Romans and their total height of 165 m (541 feet), makes them one of the tallest in Europe and the tallest man-made waterfall in the world. They are located at 8 km from Terni and at a 20 minutes drive from Torre Palombara. This amazing site and the numerous path along the falls make it a great day excursion.
For those who loves art and history, Narni Sotterranea offers a suggestive guided tour in the underground city. During this visit you can admire the basement of the old convent of San Domenico with an adjoining church frescoes from the 13th and 14th C., a roman cistern and a cell full of graffiti made by prisoners of the Inquisition.
